Creating a Lithium account takes less than a minute.

Steps

1. Go to lithium.ac/register
2. Enter your email address
3. Create a password (minimum 8 characters)
4. Confirm your password
5. Click Continue

Password requirements

Your password must:

• Be at least 8 characters long
• Be strong enough to withstand 100+ years of offline cracking attempts

Lithium analyzes your password strength in real-time and won’t let you proceed until it’s secure enough.

What happens next

After registration:

1. You’ll receive a confirmation email — click the link to verify your account
2. Lithium derives your encryption keys from your password (takes ~500ms)
3. You’re logged in and redirected to the Today view
4. All your future content is encrypted with these keys

Critical

There is no password recovery. If you forget your password, your encrypted data cannot be decrypted. Choose a strong password you’ll remember.
